Higher But Not Unsearchable

Dear Heavenly Father, my Lord, my God, how awesome and mighty You are; full of wisdom and truth. You are with me wherever I go and Your hand is always available for me to grasp when I have been distracted and have let go of it. Even though hard times are hard and tough times are tough, You and You alone, are my place of refuge and safety. Truly Your ways are higher than my ways and Your thoughts higher than my thoughts but it is Your mercy and love that calls for me to seek You and to seek to know them. “Seek Me and you shall find Me when you search for me with all your heart”, are the words You spoke through the prophet Jeremiah. The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, “…after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,…”. As I walk with You today and continue to seek You, my may eyes be ready to see Your ways and my ears be ready to hear Your words of knowledge, wisdom and truth that I might be pleasing in Your sight and fulfill the greatest command of loving You, my Father, with all my heart, mind and strength; and secondly, loving my neighbor as myself.
