My Place of Refuge

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and all the other moments in the day that I’m in need of them. You, my God, are my place of refuge for even when the sun fades and the night brings forth darkness, I find myself in need of You. I run to You and find rest for my weary soul. I will wait upon You tonight that my strength be renewed; that I find grace in this time of need. I yearn for Your Spirit right now that I will be refreshed by the Living Waters You have provided. The chaos that swirls around me only serves to draw my eyes from You and Your provision; but from impending sorrow to eternal hope I will fix my gaze upon You, Father, knowing You are my refuge in the nights and days that lie ahead. I love You. Help me to love You more.
