For Your Glory Father

Thank You, Father, for Your grace that empowers me to walk through every day till its completion. I reflect once again on Your great faithfulness and the never-ending new mercies You provide for each day and each situation. You for reveal Yourself to me not just through the written word but I more importantly through the words spoken by You to my spirit and mind. Help me that I always be ready and receptive to Your voice. May I do my best to walk uprightly before You that transforms my hearing to be sensitive to the whisper of Your voice. Teach me to discern Your voice from all others, for it is only Yours that I desire to follow, as I walk out the calling You have placed upon my life. May I always remember that my life is to be lived to glorify You and do Your will upon this earth and to resist distractions that arise to steal Your word not only out of my heart but also out of the heart of others. I repent for times that I have allowed the pain and sorrow experienced in this life to taint my vision of Your will. For when this occurs those inner thoughts are ones that do not glorify You; and when I have allowed myself to add my voice to them, they only bring You displeasure. That is not my heart Father. I would that Your will be done and not mine; Your will that will bring eternal fruit and build Your kingdom in the hearts of men. I desire that they know You and that the revelation of Your mercy and grace would draw those that cross my path to desire an intimate relationship with the God that created them and provided for the way of salvation. The song upon me soul today has been this, “Oh, how marvelous, Oh, how wonderful! And my song shall ever be;  Oh, how marvelous, Oh, how wonderful is my Savior’s love for me!” May the greatness of Your love for me shine through and may it help to draw those that are in desperate need of the living Savior, Christ Jesus, my Savior, to Him and to You and Your great love for them. Thank You Father for loving me. Help me to love You more and more.
