Seeking and Finding the Father

Father God, thank You for the peace You give that passes understanding; for even in the midst of personal trials You remain close beside me and reveal to me Your ways as I seek You. May I never be to busy to take a few moments to sit quietly in Your presence and soak up Your strength. Let me not forget to spend time with You daily listening to the sweet voice of Your Holy Spirit as You bring healing to my emotions. Thank You for being merciful to me as I know that I do not deserve it. Guide my friends and I through today as we consciously walk according to the plans You have designed for each of us. Let us remember to pay special attention to those that cross our paths and, in some way, help us to be a blessing and witness of Your great love for them. From the richest to the poorest of those we see, may we give them a nod, a smile, real eye contact so that they know that we recognize them as the valuable person You made them. Thank You that our value is not in what we have or a title we carry but in the fact that You created each person in Your image and sent Jesus to be the sacrifice for our sin, that if we choose to believe, we can have eternal life with You. Thank You for beings close to us and remind us that whenever we find ourselves to have entered into the turmoil of this world, that when we draw near to You, You will draw near to us and we will find You, when we seek You with all our heart.
