Put off these things: anger, wrath,
Malice, blasphemy, filthiness of mouth.
For you’re a new man for which Christ did bleed.
And put off the old man of sin,
Because Christ’s image resides within.
As God’s elect, holy, beloved,
Put on tender mercies, kindness, and love.
Humility, meekness, longsuffering too,
Forgiving one another, so we all must do.
Letting the peace of God rule in our hearts,
Being thankful, is a good place to start.
That we are called in one body, to abide,
Never to leave our Savior’s side.
Allowing the word of Christ to dwell in us,
Receiving knowledge and wisdom a must.
That we will teach and admonish to,
Raise and disciple no matter who.
That those that are hungry for the Way,
Will purposely draw closer to Him today.
That in whatever you may do,
You’ll do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
Giving thanks to God the Father through Him too.
