Father, thank You for a new day with new mercies and Your grace that sustains me through all of life’s difficulties and situations. I am grateful that You are with me, never to leave or forsake me. Even when times arise so that I feel all alone, I know You are faithful and are always with me. You have me in Your hand and surround me with Your loving arms, protecting and securing me in Your presence. Where shall I go from Your presence, for wherever I would go You are there. Thank You that You are truly trust-worthy; in You I will trust. You are my hope, my place of refuge in every storm.
Help me be sensitive to Your Holy Spirit; to be a welcoming residence for Your Holy presence. To know You in a more intimate and deeper way, Father. Lead me to the place that is higher than I, that place where my heart beats in sync with Yours, mine to beat for what Yours beats for.
I want to want You more each day till my only motivation is to be about things that are pleasing to You. Change my heart, O God, till it only desires what Your desire and it is filled to overflowing with the characteristics of You. May I do good, live at peace and bear all the fruits that come from walking in Your Spirit today.
