What does it mean, Nothing to fear?
In this world it might seem unclear.
But as I walk by Jesus’ side,
In His presence to abide.
I’m safe from that eternal woe
And to Heaven I will go.
Should times get here, to that place,
Where they would ask me to face
Leaving this life, instead of sin,
Should the world demand denial of Him.
And should happen and so become,
Twill be a season I’ll need the Son.
Because I stay, close to His side
And in His presence I abide.
When I proclaim undying love,
For my Father whom is above.
Watching my determined stance,
To proclaim Him and advance
His Kingdom here, for all to see
Just how much He does love me.
So of what to fear, to be afraid,
When in His care I know I’m saved,
Though it be painful to stand my ground,
That is just the place that I’ll be found.
