Father, help me to truly make Jesus my Lord today. Help me to not just know Him as Savior but as Lord over all my life; Lord in everything that I think, feel, say, and do. May You reveal Yourself to me in a greater way then I ever dreamed possible. Thank you for Your loving arms that hold me tight and the gentle brush of Your hand that wipes away my tears. Even as the blind man called to You, asking for mercy, I do so today as well. I desperately need Your love and mercy in my life today. I desperately need You today. Tears of sorrow and pain flow, and I so desire to be held and be healed. I’m not sure of all the details except to say that I need You to show Yourself greater than my trials, greater than my sorrow and fears, greater then my memories and my past, this day. According to the Psalmist, You are a very present help in times of trouble. Be exceedingly present in my life today Father and be present in the life of my friends as well.
