Father, thank You for a new day filled with Your new mercies and Your grace. I’ve been distracted as of late and know I need to be in remembrance of Your words and sayings, whether those through my Lord Jesus. Matthew 7 quotes Jesus saying, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not for it was founded upon a rock.”
Yes Father my foundation is good but I need Your help, the help of Your Spirit, that I be able to remember Your words then, that Jesus spoke, and hear You and remember Your words to me now; and strength and love so much for You that I act upon them before I faulter. Thank You for helping me with this today. I know I need You. I am grateful that Your love see past me failures and in Your eyes they do not define who I am. I am Your beloved daughter; A daughter of the King of kings, and Lord of lords.
